Cinnamon bread

This is way too moreish, especially when you’ve made it so you’ve seen the sugar poured on top…BUT it is so incredibly tasty and wonderful, especially on a cold winter’s day.

The recipe is from a lady called Joy whose website I got it off, so I’ll post the link and you can see how she does it best. Her pictures of it are much better than mine.

Obviously it’s a bread so you need a bit of time to leave it to prove etc. It’s worth the wait though. And the smell of the yeast working on the bread, knowing that you’ll have the smell of cinnamon-fresh-bread to come is amazing. Eat warm – while it’s still slightly gooey inside but the edges have crisped up.

NB just been reminded by a friend making this that it is really, really gooey and sticky to work with. You may add to need more flour to make it workable. It will be sticky but there’s a limit to how sticky you can work with!
